I am a 45 year old male who was diagnosed with auto immune cholangitis (inflammation) of the liver. I was put on a regime of steroids which resulted in weight gain, mood swings, and depletion of vision. Under these circumstances, a friend recommended me to Dr Mowry for help. Dr. Mowry immediately put me on a detox program along with a casein and gluten free diet. I started treatment with Dr. Mowry in January 2008. Managing Lymphedema … Lymphedema can be a painful and chronic condition – especially following breast cancer surgery. I battled it for close to a year following my surgery and want to encourage anyone in a similar situation to do your self a favor and give Dr. Kristin Mowry at the Healing and Wellness Center a try! She has helped me develop a lymphedema management program that I can mostly do at home with occasional support from her. Her lymphatic massage technique is somewhat more aggressive than others but has turned out to be much more effective for the axillary cording and edema with which I was dealing. Dear Dr. Mowry, Our son was born 17 weeks early. We were told that we would probably have small issues through out his life. The main issue that my wife and I were trying to overcome was his sinus issues. I have had seasonal allergies most of my life, but your average over the counter medication would clear that up. My wife was also in the same boat. When we started to notice that Ian would get congested we figured that he had “the curse”. A friend of ours had told us about facial bone manipulation and that we should look into it. That is what brought us into your office in December. After one visit with you, our eyes were opened up to a lot of things that we, and our pediatricians, had never thought of. Your caring and knowledge have given our son relief from his congestion and a few other issues that we were trying to work on. Ian was always an active child with soccer, baseball and anything else. Dear everyone that hasn’t met Dr. Mowry, I am a 44 year old female who has spent years going to doctors and only getting 5-10 minutes with them and walking out with a prescriptions or a bloodwork order.
