The Healing and Wellness Center is an alternative, integrated wellness and physical therapy practice offering natural approaches to health. Instead of diagnosing and treating a disease or health condition, we evaluate to find the reason why the body isn’t healing. We then use natural techniques to assist the body to regain its ability to heal.

Dr. Kristin Mowry is a graduate from Loyola University and the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. Her holistic approach emphasizes evidence-based prevention, education, and treatments addressing all health related concerns of men and women throughout the life span. Her goal is to optimize the health of her patients by promoting prevention of dis-ease, true lifestyle wellness, as well as providing the best interventions and restoring complete function for her patients. In her patient centered practice, she strives for both educational and clinical excellence. She loves to travel and take continuing education courses to improve her ability to help people heal. Dr. Mowry loves spending time with her family, traveling, yoga, horses, reading, photography, and cooking. Most of all, she loves The Lord. She is extremely active in the local Eastern Shore community, her home town of Severna Park, and in anything that involves helping others.

Licensed Massage Therapist

Trish Bell is a Licensed Massage Therapist accredited through the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards, licensed in the state of Maryland and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.   A graduate of University of Maryland University College and the Baltimore School of Massage, Trish is Dr. Mowry’s assistant and provides a solid adjunctive therapy to the treatment that Dr. Mowry provides and was trained by Doc since she began massage school in 2010.     Trish’s past experience as an Emergency Medical Technician helped her gain valuable insight as to the toll various conditions and injuries have on the body and mind.  Her compassion for her clients is evident during each session.    Trish enjoys all activities that involve outdoors, especially kayaking and nature photography.

Lindsey Rosa was born and raised in Massachusetts, and has been living in Kent Island for the last 5 years.  She has traveled and lived in many parts of the country with her husband who has served in the US Navy for over 17 years, and their four children.  She is a trained volunteer through Postpartum International and runs a support group out of Anne Arundel Medical Center for moms dealing with postpartum depression. Her prior work experience also includes working as a Medical Assistant for an Asthma and Allergy office, specializing in allergy testing, breathing test and phlebotomy. Lindsey enjoys the outdoors, meeting new people, crafts, photography, spending time with family and staying busy.
